How I Got Here.

I grew up watching cartoons, listening to books on tape, and being goofy with my family. What do all of those things have in common, voices. Each voice I heard and invented had a life of its own, making me feel part of each story I was listening to or watching.

I enjoyed escaping through voices as a child and as I now read to my children, I find that escape even more important for them. I love how they listen so intently and giggle when my voice changes and am thrilled to provide worlds of escape for them.

As an adult, I have come to realize the importance of voice not only as an escape and way to feel immersed in a world, but in how much a voice can influence what you hear and learn in school, work, and emergency or unfamiliar situations. The delivery of information is just as important to learning and retaining as the quality of the information.

I have reached a point in my journey where I want to share my skills, that started with imagination, to provide entertainment, education, and opening of minds to new products, skills, locations, etc. to a whole new set of people, not just my family.
